Ever wanted to learn how to make comics? Is it just simple framed panels or is there something else involved making it appear more magical and appealing to readers? Join me on a 3 hour beginner friendly workshop where we will cover:
– basics of thumbnailing
– best way to portray meaning via different panel to panel transitions
– basics of stylization
– zine folding techniques
& loads of practical exercises !

(some materials will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own notebooks, favorite pens and tools)
People with all sorts of drawing skills are welcome ( the point of this workshop is not to learn how to draw amazing images – it’s learning how to think in a visual way, that also makes sense to other people reading your comics — stick figures are welcome! : )
